It was Wayne Dyer that I was listening to when I heard this idea. This thought that life is a mirror. Dr. Dyer was saying if you’re constantly expressing, “Give me, give me, give me…”

Life’s response will be, “Give me, give me, give me…”

But if you change that to, “What can I give? How can I be of service?” Life will say, “What can I give? How can I be of service?”

This works. Life is a mirror. “You don’t get what you want, you get what you are.

In my own life, I have so many people smiling at me so often. It’s because I’m constantly smiling at people. I feel an incredible amount of love when I walk into a room because I give off an incredible amount of love when I walk into a room.

I hug people, smile at them, ask them about themselves and truly connect and truly care. They hug me, smile at me, ask me about my life and truly connect and care. It starts with my decision to express love and genuine connection that I continuously receive love and genuine connection.

In my last blog I talked about the Zig Ziglar quote that if you help enough people get what they want, you’ll get what you want. It’s this mirror effect. When you’re approaching life with an attitude of giving, enriching, lifting up, and loving… Life will approach you in the exact same way.

The people that constantly feel as though life is taking from them or doing them dirty, are often the people that only take and will do someone else dirty in a second. What you put out in this current of life does one major thing… it flows back to you.

It’s your decision what you wanna be swimming in.
